Youre following the footsteps of Austrias Empress
Elisabeth (Sissi) if you stroll across the catwalk over the
tracks at Karls Gate Station and enter the narrow Valerie's
Way / Elisabeth's Way. This path winds its way uphill close
against granite formations to Schloss-Wolfsbrunnenweg, not
far from where the latter meets the Elisabethenweg. These
two paths take their names from Empress Elisabeth and her
daughter Valerie, who often spent lengthy periods together
in Heidelberg between 1883 and 1890.
